Sign post in Burgundy (France)

On the road again

This time in Dijon and Beaune.  For those not familiar:  this is the home of french mustard and amazing Burgundy wine.  But the rolling fields, small towns, and amazingly friendly people really are quite stunning as well!

Small in stature, but large on x factor (Louvre, Paris)

Around the world in 80 days. . . or less

I've looked back on some of my recent posts and clearly I've been doing some traveling.  Maybe not quite 80 days, but definitely EVERYWHERE.  So on this day after Easter, I leave you with where I spent my afternoon:  the Louvre.  One place that you can spend time looking at the art, the people and the beautiful surroundings and feel like you just scratched the surface!

even the air smells like chocolate (San Francisco)

Willie Wonka has nothing on Ghiradelli

First time I visited this chocolate mecca I was with my Mom and I remember that the hot fudge sundae I shared with her was the standard I held all chocolate by for years to come.  Just this week I sampled that hot fudge sundae again and while the taste was still absolutely unparalleled, it maybe was second best to the first one I shared with my Mom.

Nod to the Masters Golf tourney (Newcastle, UK)

Golf needs lots of prayer

I was strolling in the alleys of Newcastle, UK, where I found another Amen Corner.  So I did the only logical thing:  I said a small prayer for all the golfers at the Masters in Georgia this week!

Office view postcard (London, UK)

Out of the office window

Just a small Friday postcard for you  as I am sitting in a very modern building in a very modern meeting in very hip London.  What are you looking at as the weekend arrives?

Old and new architecture (Kings Cross Station, UK)

No April Fool's joke here

Just one of the coolest train stations in the UK. . . shows you can do modern architecture with existing architecture and still make people enjoy the experience.

Stack of head decoration (Wyoming)

Heads will decorate

But not really heads.  My best friend was showing me antlers as decoration which is the next big thing.  Looks like the residents of Wyoming agree!
